Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?
What can I consume on a clear liquid diet?
It’s essential to drink a variety of clear liquids to avoid nausea and dehydration. Clear liquids include:
- Water
- Apple juice
- White grape juice
- Other non-citrus juices without pulp
- Gatorade
- Ginger ale
- Diet or regular 7-Up, Sprite, or colas
- Kool Aid
- Clear broth
- Popsicles
- Honey
- Hard candies without filling
A clear liquid diet also permits black coffee or tea without cream or powdered creamer. You can also consume Jell-O without added fruit.
Can I take a bus, taxi, Uber, or Lyft home by myself after the procedure?
